Being different can be and often is, challenging. We ADHD’ers live in a world not made for our way of interacting with it. Despite this we tend to thrive in areas representing the best parts of humanity: empathy, exuberance, creativity, curiosity, intelligence and insightfulness! We are beings with the ability for so much attention and emotion to all the world has to offer that sometimes we can barely contain our presence with all its beauty.
Unfortunately this puts us at risk to see and over focus on the negatives, our mistakes, and the ugliness of the world. This can leave us isolated and misunderstood. When we don’t know how to navigate our unique challenges we struggle to become the VIBRANT beings that we and many others see in ourselves.
This is why it takes a unique approach tailored to you and no one else. Take solace in the fact that we were not meant to do this alone. You don’t have to do it alone.
